Cities Around the World Hold Discussions and Issue a Communiqué; G-NETS Mayors' Conference Concludes

Leaders from 55 cities across the five continents gathered to discuss the theme “A New Future for Cities Through Climate and Disaster Resilience” and share insights and expertise on the diverse initiatives being undertaken by their cities. The outcomes of these discussions were compiled into a joint statement (communiqué), and as part of new initiatives, each city announced specific actions and goals aimed at strengthening resilience and shared them with the world.
