The Tokyo Metropolitan Government hereby announces that, pursuant to the provisions of Article 136, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Promotion of the Development of Disaster-Resilient Neighborhoods in Densely Populated Urban Areas, it has approved the establishment of the Togoshi 6-chome 18 and 20 East District Disaster-Resilient Neighborhood Development Association as follows.

1. Business Impact

(1) Improving the District’s Disaster Resilience

Through joint development and road widening, we aim to improve the living environment in the district and eliminate dilapidated wooden buildings.

(2) Creation of Fire Break Zones

Through joint development along Auxiliary Route 29, we aim to create a firebreak by constructing fire-resistant buildings.
