First Plenary Meeting of the Council for the Study of Hydrogen Supply Systems, Including Pipelines, Held for Reiwa 8

As part of its efforts to ensure a stable energy supply and achieve decarbonization, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government aims to expand demand for hydrogen energy within the metropolitan area and accelerate its early adoption in society.
We are pleased to announce that the first plenary meeting of the Reiwa 8 fiscal year for the “Council for the Study of Hydrogen Supply Systems in Tokyo, Including Pipelines” will be held as follows, with the aim of establishing a hydrogen supply system—including pipelines—within the metropolitan area.

1. Date and Time

Tuesday, August 4, Reiwa 8, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

2. Location

30th Floor, Shinjuku NS Building, NS Sky Conference, Halls A & B (hybrid event)
(2-4-1 Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo)

3. Attendees

Hydrogen users, hydrogen suppliers, stakeholders in areas adjacent to airports, trading companies, financial and legal professionals, local governments and relevant government agencies, experts (observers), etc.

4. Agenda

(1) Introduction of Selected Proposers for the Public Solicitation for Feasibility Studies on Large-Scale Hydrogen Use and Supply, etc.
(2) Establishment of Subcommittees for Reiwa 8
(3) Exchange of Views:
 — Matters related to selected projects, etc.
 — Other matters
