Analysis of Projected Damage from a Direct-Hit Earthquake in the National Capital and the Metropolitan Government’s Views on Strengthening the Resilience of Tokyo

The national government released its damage estimates for an earthquake directly beneath the capital last December, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government has been analyzing these estimates and evaluating the effectiveness of its disaster prevention measures.
Based on these findings, we have compiled the Metropolitan Government’s views and are hereby announcing them.
