Newly Certified Contractors for Overhead Power Line Removal in Residential Development

Earthquake

Let’s work together to create a town without utility poles!

With the aim of creating a safe and secure city, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is promoting the removal of overhead power lines in all aspects of urban development. To encourage more
developers to adopt this practice in residential land development and to promote its widespread adoption, we have established a certification system for developers and invited applications in February of this year. We are pleased to announce that we have certified five new companies as “Tokyo Metropolitan Government Certified Developers for Overhead Power Line Removal in Residential Land Development,” bringing the total number of certified companies to 12.
