Signing of a Cooperation Agreement on the Prevention of Electrical Fires
We are pleased to announce that today, the Bureau of General Affairs, the Tokyo Fire Department, and Tokyo Electric Power Grid Co., Ltd. have signed a cooperation agreement, as outlined below, to prevent electrical fires caused by power surges during major earthquakes. The agreement aims to raise Tokyo residents’ awareness of fire prevention measures and encourage concrete actions, such as the installation of “Gurapita Switches” (seismic-sensing circuit breakers).
