Introducing a mobile pharmacy
We would like to inform you that the Tokyo Metropolitan Government has introduced a mobile pharmacy [Note] to enhance the supply system for medicines during disasters.
The mobile pharmacy will be operated in cooperation with the Tokyo Pharmaceutical Association and will be used for dispensing and supplying medicines at medical relief stations in disaster-stricken areas during emergencies. In normal times, it is planned to be used for training pharmacists on operation and equipment setup, disaster prevention drills in cooperation with wards and municipalities, and awareness campaigns at local events.

These vehicles are designed to supply medicines in disaster-stricken areas. They are equipped with medicines, dispensing equipment, water tanks, and power supplies, enabling pharmacists to dispense and supply medicines even when lifelines are disrupted.

Operation method
We have concluded an agreement with the Tokyo Pharmaceutical Association to entrust them with the operation of our services during disasters and in normal times.
