Agreement concluded regarding rehabilitation support activities in the event of a disaster
In the event of a disaster, in order to prevent disaster victims and people requiring special care from becoming inactive and suffering from disaster-related deaths, support is needed from the perspective of rehabilitation medicine and medical care to enable them to resume independent living as soon as possible, as well as support for the reconstruction of affected areas.
Therefore, we are pleased to announce that the Tokyo Metropolitan Government has concluded an agreement with the Tokyo Council of Disaster Rehabilitation Support Organizations with the aim of further improving the medical support system for disaster victims and those in need of special care.

3 Contents of the Agreement
The Act stipulates necessary matters regarding cooperation when dispatching rehabilitation support teams to provide medical support to disaster victims and people requiring special care in the event of a disaster, as well as training in peacetime.
