Proposal to the national government to strengthen and improve earthquake disaster prevention measures in the Tokyo metropolitan area
We would like to announce that nine prefectures and cities (Saitama Prefecture, Chiba Prefecture, Tokyo, Kanagawa Prefecture, Yokohama City, Kawasaki City, Chiba City, Saitama City, and Sagamihara City), based on an agreement reached at the Disaster Prevention and Crisis Management Committee, will submit a proposal to the relevant national government ministries and agencies to take necessary measures regarding “strengthening earthquake disaster prevention measures, etc.” and “promoting civil protection.”
