Subsidy applications for “Tokyo TODOMARU Apartments” now open
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is promoting the promotion of apartment complexes that make it easy to continue living in one’s home even in the event of a disaster by registering and publicizing them as “Tokyo TODOMARU Apartments”.
We are now starting to accept applications for this year’s subsidies for registered apartment management associations and rental property owners to purchase disaster preparedness equipment such as portable toilets, disaster prevention cabinets for installation in elevators, and food preparation equipment, as well as subsidies for existing apartment buildings to install emergency power generators, storage batteries, water stops, and other equipment.
Take advantage of these subsidies to prepare for disasters.
We plan to expand the scope of subsidies in the future, including measures to prevent people from being trapped in elevators (by adding a restart function, etc.) and installing manhole toilets.
