The Tokyo iCDC Risk Communication Team provides advice and conducts studies on risk communication activities related to infectious diseases.
We recently conducted a survey to assess Tokyo residents’ awareness, behaviors, and efforts regarding infectious diseases, and we would like to share the results.

People in their 20s through 70s who reside in Tokyo

Sampling Method

Stratified sampling based on the demographic composition of Tokyo, taking into account gender, age distribution, and residential area

Number of Valid Responses

10,114 votes

Implementation Period

For 11 days, from Friday, February 6, Reiwa 8, through Monday, February 16

Survey Items

Attitudes toward COVID-19, attitudes toward vaccines, perceptions and behaviors regarding infectious diseases in general, information-seeking behaviors and sources, antimicrobial resistance and antibiotics, pandemic preparedness, etc.

2. Survey Results
