Disaster Prevention Specialist Training Course for Tokyo Metropolitan High School Students
We would like to inform you that we have summarized our efforts in this regard as shown in the attached document (PDF: 922KB).
The purpose of this course is to develop disaster prevention leaders who can support the safety of schools and communities and take action in preparation for large-scale disasters such as increasingly severe wind and flood damage, large-scale earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions.
From fiscal year 2022 to fiscal year 2025 (as of the end of December 2025), a total of 531 Tokyo Metropolitan High School students have been certified as disaster prevention specialists, and they are working on disaster prevention activities in their schools and communities each year.
