With the possibility of an earthquake directly beneath the capital imminent, disaster prevention measures for apartment buildings are extremely important. For this reason, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government began a disaster prevention advisor dispatch program last year for rental apartment buildings.
This year, we will be adding online courses to our course options, increasing the number of courses we have planned, and accepting applications. There is no fee for using the service. Please read the information below before using it.

1　Contents

Disaster prevention advisors provide specific and practical advice on disaster prevention measures to owners and management companies of rental apartments located in Tokyo. After providing the advice, they will distribute a card-style disaster prevention manual ^[Note] to help improve daily disaster prevention awareness and support rapid response in the event of a disaster.

[Note] In preparation for disasters, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government registers and publicizes apartment buildings that are engaged in disaster prevention drills and stockpiles based on disaster prevention manuals as “Tokyo Todomaru Apartments.” When registering, you can use the card-style disaster prevention manual provided by this project. （1）Pre-lecture

• Explaining the importance of initial response in the event of a disaster in rental apartments and the card-type disaster prevention manual that can only be used by residents who are present at the time of the disaster.
• Hear about the situation of each apartment
• Applicants can choose from the following three ways to attend the course, depending on their convenience.
  1）Face-to-face at the venue
  2）Live streaming format
  3）E-learning (video distribution) format

（2）On-site advice

• Advisors visit the site and provide advice based on a card-based disaster prevention manual created based on what they heard in the pre-lecture.
• If desired, residents can participate in the training.
• Revise the manual as necessary based on local conditions and training etc.

In addition, we are providing various support measures, such as subsidies for purchasing disaster preparedness supplies, to owners of registered apartments in Tokyo Todomaru Apartments.

Applications will be closed once the planned number of applications (80 buildings) is reached.
