Subsidies for measures to prevent people from being trapped in elevators

To make it easier to evacuate from an apartment building at home in the event of a disaster, it is important to prepare elevators so that they can be used as normal even during an earthquake, and to have manhole toilets available in case drainage pipes are damaged and the toilets become unusable.
Therefore, we will begin providing subsidies for measures to prevent people from being trapped in elevators and for the installation of manhole toilets for existing apartment buildings registered with Tokyo Stay Apartments, which make it easier for people to continue living in their homes even in the event of a disaster.
Take this opportunity to take advantage of these subsidies and prepare for disasters.

(*1) If the safety device is activated for some reason and the elevator stops before it reaches the nearest floor due to earthquake control operation, if it is confirmed that the safety device has returned to its normal state, the elevator will land on the nearest floor and open the doors, thereby resolving any trapped passengers.
