In order to promote the establishment of teleworking, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government will provide subsidies to medium-sized enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises in Tokyo that have examined the issues and solutions to the problems in promoting teleworking and established “teleworking rules (our company’s best balance)” that are optimal for their companies. We are pleased to announce that applications for this fiscal year will now be accepted.

1.　Advance entry

Please apply in advance via the “Telework Tokyo Rules” Practice Corporate Declaration website.

2.　Implementation of the initiative

You will be able to apply for the grant if you complete all of the following steps 1) to 5) in the correct order.

Step1）

Conduct employee survey on needs and issues related to teleworking and working hour systems in the post-COVID era

Step2）

A project team will be set up within the company to consider and decide on solutions to each issue, including working hour systems (*1), based on the survey results.

(*1) In Step 2, online training will be conducted for project team members on methods of investigation and solution techniques.

Participation in the online training is mandatory and will be open only to those who register in advance. The video will be released before grant applications begin being accepted.

Step3）

Trial and verify the telework rules, working hours system, and problem-solving methods that have been considered.

Step4）

If necessary, review rules, working hour systems, and problem-solving methods.

Step5）

Disseminate information about new telework rules (*2), working hours systems, and problem-solving methods both inside and outside the company.

(*2) Before applying for the grant (grant for strengthening the establishment of telework), you must register the new telework rules (your company’s best balance) determined in Step 5) on your My Page on the website of the “Telework Tokyo Rules” Practice Company Declaration.

3.　Apply for subsidies (subsidies for strengthening teleworking)

Subsidies will be provided to medium-sized enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises in Tokyo that implement the above 2 measures.
